我们做什么

There are many things we can do to have a safe driving experience, whether driving a personal vehicle or driving a University of Idaho vehicle for work. EHS provides training, checklists to 医生ument required 每月 和 年度检查 of vehicles 和 recommendations for 前检查s.

你需要做什么

被训练: before driving university owned, rented or leased vehicles, 员工, students 和 volunteers (drivers) are required to complete the defensive driving course.  This course reviews policies found in the APM 05.08 和 forms that must be completed prior to using a university vehicle.

检查车辆: drivers need to conduct a 前检查 before getting behind the wheel 和 report issues to the proper authority to ensure the vehicle is safe to drive. 额外的 每月 和 年度检查 must be conducted by appropriate personnel.

Supervisors are responsible: supervisors must ensure drivers complete the defensive driving course every three years, submit a satisfactory driver’s record check (background check) every three years 和 have a signed Vehicle Use Agreement on file before driving.
